i'm normally not a big fan of "vintage" styles, but i find bathing suits to be a huge, boring quagmire, so i have always been attracted to old suits like the one in this strange picture.actually, despite the fact that i will generally take any excuse to get naked, i am pretty intrigued by modest swimsuits. they're just...different, which is a quality i find attractive in clothes.
i have finally, finally found a swim fabric in black and white stripes, so maybe i will attempt something along these lines soon. actually this random image gives me a pretty good idea about how to execute it (it seems tricky to guess the exact right length for the torso, especially with stretch fabric. but tying the straps at the shoulders might be the perfect solution)
