chronika, oh chronika
since parts of my family and james' family celebrate both christmas and channukah, and because we are ok with holidays but don't really belong to either of the relevant religions for these two, we have invented a holiday called chronika. the motto of chronika is "because the holidays just keep on happening". others may tell you that they invented it, but they are probably wrong, because we have been celebrating it for years. my dad even made up a chronika carol once, although i forget how it went. anyway, chronika sometimes occurs around thanksgiving time due to scheduling challenges, and this year for the first time it will be occurring at our house. so i will be pretty busy this week, but i will try to keep updating, and eventually maybe i will post some more chronika lore. (btw, the spelling is kind of iffy. you can really spell it however you want.)

i guess you took the spelling challenges from hanukkah (chanukah, chanukah, hannukah, hanuka, etc., etc.). by the way, started my first painting in a while yesterday.
ReplyDeleteit's pretty awesome. i'm happy with it.
