today we turned our living room into a new multi function art studio, mostly so we can hang out together in one area of the house this winter and heat partly with space heaters. this is my new studio corner, with my project shelves, bulletin board, lamp and comfortable chair. after many years of suffering i have realized that i really don't like to work at tables at all, so i am thrilled with this new arrangement (plus i have a desk top that fits over the arms of my chair if i want it). james and meg have their own areas too. it's pretty cool.
