if not for
patrice's post, it probably would not have occurred to me that the recent fifth anniversary of the occupation in iraq was also the fifth anniversary, approximately, of the time when we and most of the people we know spent a lot of time looking like these folks on the left (photo snagged from the above post). i guess we are still mostly up to cool stuff, but sometimes i miss running around like a hooligan and feeling like taunting cops was going to get us somewhere. oh well, viva la revolucion... and thanks for the memories.
i wonder if any of us will ever see any settlement for being
illegally arrested during the imf protests in 2002.
I keep wondering that too. I ask Nathan all the time about it, since he's the one most likely to keep up on it, but he never has any info.
