i've made some progress. unfortunately, this is half my yarn, so it's not going to be a very long shawl. it seems like my pattern was kind of crappy, for this and other reasons. it's pretty fun, though, and i like the holes. it's supposed to have fringe on the end, but i guess i'll do that later.

that's so beautiful. much better than i could ever crochet (well, except for river's kiwi).
ReplyDeletethanks. actually, i think the holey part is a pretty similar stitch to the one you used for river's blanket, it just looks weird because my stitching is all uneven. and i have no idea how to make a kiwi!
