While Moore worships a Greek snake god called Glycon, he makes a compelling argument for the very personal nature of spirituality, and why maybe finding your own thing to worship is a pretty good idea.
I really love Alan Moore. While I definitely enjoyed V for Vendetta (and yeah, I even like the movie although it's different from the book) and am pretty curious about Lost Girls, it's his video interviews that have impressed me the most-- The Mindscape of Alan Moore is a great one if you can find it. He seems devastatingly intelligent, charming, and icconoclastic, one of those people who can definitely rub me the wrong way at times but still be compelling enough to hold my attention, which really is my favorite kind of person.
Oh, and he's a ritual magician. You can download an audio performance working here. (Haven't heard this one, so no guarantees from me.)
