I was just thinking that I haven't mentioned recently all the things he can do. And I can't write them all down, but here are some highlights:
He still loves music and dancing. He likes to jump out from behind things and giggle uncontrollably. He can stack blocks and throw and catch a ball. He likes cars, dolls, markers and stuff with latches. He's definitely into books, and watching videos of puppies, muppets, and dancing on you-tube. He still says "Dis is what?" about a zillion times a day.
Other than that, he's still a boy of few words, although he'll occasionally say things like no, yes (des!), uh-oh and the like, and he's been repeating a lot of sounds recently.
I'm so glad that we've kept up with the sign language, because he does know tons of signs, and would almost certainly know more if we knew more. Off the top of my head, he can sign: more, hurts, gentle, cat, dog, duck, bunny, pig, cow, frog, shoes, socks, hat, noodles, cookie, water, all gone, change (diaper), potty, computer, bye, music, and probably some more that I'm forgetting. I think he knows about twice as many signs as words, and he will play a couple of word games now like "what's the sign for this?" and "where's the whatever?". He likes to sing along to music.
I know I'm biased, but he's terribly sweet. The hugs and kisses are definitely worth the occasional punch in the eye.
