so, it looks like we sold our old house! of course it's not 100% official yet, but we did get a deposit, and supposedly the whole thing will be finalized in a few weeks! this is excellent timing for us, allowing us to fix up the new place much better without being too risky. as far as all that goes, things are coming along very well. we now have patched and painted walls, an insulated roof and ceiling, a sanded wood floor, and even some fixtures. while we are missing our original deadline, we do hope to be completely done in about a week. and then i will post pictures!since i don't have too much to add, maybe this is a good time to plug this place. if you live in pittsburgh and don't know about construction junction, you should. they sell recycled building supplies at deep discount prices, and we have made some amazing discoveries there, as the pictures will eventually show. plus, they host a free ride, a great local free bicycling resource and purveyor of these fine gears.
