i don't know much about astrology, especially not the standard "what's your sign?" type. i'm an aquarius, and that's pretty much been good enough for me.
i did learn a bit more recently, though. i learned about moon signs, which supposedly reflect your inner, subconscious nature (mine is scorpio...ok, i'll take that), and rising signs, which relate to how people first see you or how you want to bee seen. apparently my rising sign is leo, which means i want you to think i am the life of the party. ha. actually, that's almost enough to nip my mild reinterest in astrology in the bud.
do you think your astrological signs make sense?
(i'm kinda interested in the chinese and mayan systems also, but i'll save that for another post.)
FWIW, my moon sign (if you go with the one immediate previous to my actual birth date), aries, is a fairly accurate it somewhat unflattering characterization. the one on my actual birth date i would say is pretty INaccurate. my rising sign was perhaps sagittarius, and it was okay for me i suppose, although not strikingly so.

I am vaguely curious about what it means to be born smack in the middle of a lunar eclipse. I can't imagine it wouldn't mess with my moon sign, but I also can't seem to get anyone to explain what effect it would have, except that I must be a very intense person. Thanks.
