Many Happy Returns of the Day, part 2

This is my sister-in-law, Danya. Today we got a short fiction anthology in the mail, including a story that she wrote. Why is this? She was recently a finalist in the Wordstock 2008 contest (which, by the way, was judged by my favorite writer of all time, Ursula K. Leguin, of which I am eternally jealous). So, now she is a published author. Congratulations, Danya, that is a pretty kick-ass sixteenth birthday present!

The story, called "Looks Like Newsprint," was short, sweet, and evocative. You can see the book here.
